OF THE EMPRESS

The Wild Distilled. Nature's Masterpiece.

A Standard Apart.

At Of The Empress, we believe a Bengal should be more than beautiful — it should be singular.

Our program is built on lineage, structure, and the kind of wild expression that cannot be manufactured. Each pairing is chosen with precision: high-contrast rosettes, glittered coats, athletic build, and a temperament that is both confident and deeply present.

Raised within our home from birth. Health-tested. TICA & CFA Registered. Selected.

We are particular about where our Bengals go — because extraordinary things belong in extraordinary hands.

Questions

Every adult in our program carries a Wisdom Panel — comprehensive genetic testing covering breed identification and hereditary conditions. Our cats are seen by Dr. Jamie Laity of Wandering Vet, a USDA-certified veterinarian who comes to our home. Cardiac health is monitored throughout each cat's life, with echocardiograms when age or clinical judgment warrants. Every kitten leaves with a USDA health certificate.
Reach out. We review every inquiry personally. If it's a fit, we'll send you a deposit link to secure your kitten. A non-refundable deposit of $500 is required to reserve — this comes off the total purchase price. We don't take every request — we place kittens where they belong.
Yes — Bengals are social, confident, and adaptable. They match energy. A dog that can keep up will have a best friend for life. A dog that can't will be firmly put in its place.
Yes — domestic and international homes are both welcome. We provide all required health documentation and guidance for transport. Reach out to discuss the specifics for your location.
A Cashmere is a long-haired Bengal — same wild Asian Leopard Cat heritage, same rosettes and temperament, but with a silky, semi-long coat that carries the pattern beautifully. TICA recently recognized it as its own breed. The long-hair trait is fully recessive, meaning both parents must carry the gene — which makes true Cashmeres genuinely rare. We are developing our Cashmere program and will announce availability when the time is right. Reach out if it interests you.

Investment

Every kitten includes neuter/spay, age-appropriate vaccinations, FeLV testing, rabies (if age-appropriate), and a health guarantee. A non-refundable deposit of $500 secures your kitten.

Pet Quality · By Color

Pet Quality

Brown / Gold

$1,800–$2,500

The most classic and popular Bengal color — recognized by TICA since 1983. Ground coat ranges from cool gray-tawny to vivid orange-gold, with a lighter chest and belly highly prized. Markings are dark brown, seal, or jet-black spots, rosettes, or marble. Distinctive mascara lines, brick-red nose outlined in black, and a solid black tail tip. Eyes: green, hazel, gold, or copper.

Pet Quality

Silver

$2,000–$2,700

A cool, frosty-white to dark steel-gray base coat with zero warm tones — driven by the dominant inhibitor gene that suppresses all yellow and orange pigment. Markings present as intense charcoal-black or dark gray. The tail tip must be solid black per breed standard. Vivid green or gold eyes. One of the most visually striking expressions in the Bengal world.

Pet Quality

Snow — Mink, Lynx, Sepia

$2,200–$3,000

Three distinct snow variants — each with different genetics and eye color. Seal Lynx Point (cs/cs): the palest snow, creamy-white to ivory base with warm-brown markings and always ice-blue eyes — the only Bengal with guaranteed blue eyes. Born nearly white, markings develop over 6–12 months. Seal Mink (cs/cb): aqua eyes, warmer ground. Seal Sepia (cb/cb): darkest snow, gold to green eyes. Solid dark tail tip on all three.

Pet Quality · Specialty Color

Blue Bengal

$2,200–$3,200

Rare dilute color. Cool slate-grey coat with blue-grey markings. CFA-recognized. Not TICA championship eligible.

Pet Quality · Modifier

Charcoal Bengal

+$300–$800

Charcoal is an independent trait that dramatically darkens the coat. Distinguished by a dark face mask, light "goggles" around the eyes, and a thick dorsal cape. Recognized by TICA across all color classes.
